ARTIST BIOS
Amy Poux is an arts educator, development person, former actress – anything but a singer. She trained classically as a teenager and gave it up soon after. At least until last year, when she gained the courage to try it with other people. She currently sings with Barbara Dempsey & Co., on Dean Jones’ Napper’s Delight, and “Shady Grove” on High Meadow Songs.
Over the past 17 years she has dedicated most of her creativity to bringing high quality arts education to kids. She is the founder and Executive Director of High Meadow Arts, Inc. and the founder/former Executive Director of Working Playground, Inc. in New York City.
