ARTIST BIOS
Kirsten Jacobson has been writing songs for 10 years. A classically-trained flautist and pianist, she majored in music at Smith College. Her playing was recently featured in the documentary "Stanley's House." She is thrilled that Blue Mountain Moon has been included in this compilation. Story behind the song:
Kirsten wrote "Blue Mountain Moon" as a lullabye for her daughter, Annika, who sings with her on the song. Kirsten has also enlisted the talents of Chris Wood (Medeski, Martin and Wood,) and Dan Littleton (Ida.)
