About the Course
Fitness Club focuses on teaching students how to understand and enjoy fitness activities. Much of what will take place in fitness club revolves around how to make informed decisions building fitness goals and utilizing the things available to us, including our own body weight, to achieve fitness goals. Activities include everything from squats and sit-ups to more in depth activities such as wall-walks and frog-stands.

Gordon has been running fitness and athletic programs at the middle school level for 5 years and has been teaching both Health and Physical Education for 10 years. Additionally, he has built athletic programming for 2 private schools and hopes to continue to build them here at High Meadow School. As a certified personal trainer and nutritionist, Gordon has a passion with helping kids learn proper form and create a passion for their own health and wellness
