About the Course
Running club is more than just what we see on the surface. Participating in Running Club allows students to deepen their knowledge of running, their own body and their own health. In Running Club we will not only focus on developing or enhancing our ability to run at long distances, but we will learn to identify how our body performs at different levels of running. We will learn about how our body handles running short and long distances, changes in inlcine and decline as well as how running and posture/form can change how well we can perform the activity.
Your Instructor
Allyson Uzzle
Ally Uzzle has been an educator at High Meadow School for over 20 years. She is passionate about many things including running, staying active and living healthy. She is looking forward to building a relationship beyond the classroom and stage by expanding her interactions with our students to the track. As a staple in the High Meadow community Ally is excited to oversee the re-introduction of a Running Club here at High Meadow.
