SUMMER RECREATIONAL CAMP | $500/WEEK
For Ages 3 Through Rising 2nd Graders
High Meadow provides a high-quality recreational camp program for students entering preschool through second grade. Campers engage in arts, nature, and play-based summer activities on our wooded 9-acre school campus. Our camp programming is reflective of High Meadow School’s core progressive mission of providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences that spark wonder, attend to children’s social and emotional needs, and provide campers opportunities to cultivate and exercise their unique voice.
-
Each session’s activities are based around a common theme and provide children with unique specialized experiences for each week they attend camp.
-
Children are grouped in age-level cohorts with a consistent lead counselor, assistant counselor, and counselor in training that they stay with for all 5 days of camp. With their counselors, children participate in morning circles, crafts, water activities, experiments, reading, and play.
-
Across the week, students participate in activities with visual arts, movement, music, and science specialists in our school’s studio spaces. We also invite special guests to present theme-based activities that coincide with each camp week.
-
Every Friday afternoon, campers end the session with a learning performance for their families.
Reminder: Campers must be 3 years old by the start of their camp week to participate. All campers must be fully immunized according to state regulations. All campers need to be fully potty trained to participate in camp.
